PTA members vote on crucial decisions at monthly PTA meetings to represent the group's overall opinion. You can be at the meetings and have a say in important decisions. While anyone can attend PTA meetings, only members are permitted to vote.
The PTA knows what’s happening with the school, who’s involved, and usually plans many of the events. You will have a much stronger connection with your child’s daily activities.
The common bond all parents of school-aged children share is that we care about creating the best possible educational experience for our kids. We are neighbors and peers, and as a result, many friendships are forged via this connection.
Getting involved at your child’s school can help make positive changes. The PTA is vital in fundraising to provide technology in the classroom and STEM-based educational programs.
